プロフィール

A town Planner by profession, Mohan Moorti Pant holds an MA from Tongji University in Shanghai and PhD Kyoto University. He has carried out extensuve research on the history of town planning and urban conservation, with a particular focus on the city of Thimi in the Kathmandu Valley.

Shuji Funo studies urban planning and housing in Southeast Asia, and has done extensive research on Dutch urban centers in Indonesia. His Japanese language book The Modern World-System and Colonial Cities(2006) was awarded a prize by the City Planning Institute of Japan. He is a Professor at Shiga prefectural university.
